This Nostalgic Trolley Tour presents very rare archival film footage of city and interurban systems in the southern states. With the exception of the Cabin John line of the Washington, D.C. system, which is abandoned, but still has most of its right-of-way and bridges intact, virtually no traces exist of these once-thriving rail transportation systems. The program is comprised of sequences taken mostly on color and b/w 16mm film from the late 1930s to the mid-1950s. Some extremely rare 8mm scenes are also included because of their historic value.
