ERIE-LACKAWANNA VOLUME I presents Erie and E-L trains in action on the busy New York Division between Hoboken Terminal and Arden, NY. Freight, commuter, and long-distance passenger trains are depicted at many scenic locations, with extended visits to Hoboken Terminal, Croxton, Passaic Jct., and Waldwick yard. You’ll also see passenger trains running through the streets of downtown Passaic.

ERIE-LACKAWANNA VOLUME II features some of the finest scenery in the United States, as we cover the line from Moodna Viaduct to Binghamton, NY. Photo locations include the massive Moodna Viaduct, Black Rock Cut, Shin Hollow, Port Jervis, Hawk’s Nest, Mill Rift, Shohola, and Pond Eddy.

A wide variety of Erie and E-L power is presented, including Alco PAs, FAs, RS3s (a five-unit lashup!), and Centuries; EMD Es, Fs, FTs, Geeps, and SD45s; and various GE U-boats, including the famous U34CH passenger units and even a U50C! Paint schemes range from the traditional Erie black with yellow wings to the E-L’s attractive gray, maroon, and yellow. You’ll also see a special E-L inspection train and view a wreck at Shohola.
