The LIRR rostered an interesting and eclectic variety of motive power during the transition period from steam to diesel, and this program offers exciting action scenes of the famous G5-Class 4-6-0's, along with 0-8-0 and 2-8-0 steam locomotives. Diesels include Fairbanks-Morse C-Liners and Baby Trainmasters, and Alco and Baldwin switchers.
