Memories of the ERIE-LACKAWANNA - Vol. 1: Hoboken Terminal to Arden (VHS)
SKU: EL1
This fine collection of color archive film presents Erie and Erie-Lackawanna trains in action on the busy New York Division between Hoboken Terminal and Arden, NY. Freight, commuter and long distance passenger trains are depicted at many scenic locations, with extended visits to Hoboken Terminal, Croxton, Passaic Junction and Waldwick Yard. You'll also see passenger trains trunning through the streets of downtown Passaic! A wide variety of Erie and E-L power is presented, including Alco PAs, RS-units and Centuries; EMD E and F units, Geeps, switchers and SD45s; and several models of GE U-boats, including the unique U34CH passenger diesels. Paint schemes range from the traditional Erie black with yellow wings to the E-L's attractive gray, maroon and yellow.
